Fallacies: Strategy, Error, Shortcut (SES 2017).
Whether one conceives of the fallacies as reasoning-errors, as strategic discourse contributions, problem solving shortcuts, or as something else, they continue to inform both descriptive and normative aspects of studying human reasoning in experimental or natural contexts, including the historical development of this research.
We look for historical or systematical work that puts terms such as the above into perspective. By contrast, another analysis of some fallacy, or a paper reporting a “new” fallacy, might perhaps not fit so well. That said, if your work relates to fallacies at all, please do submit.
Please see the call for papers.
